Bee Theme Baby Shower

I really enjoyed putting together this baby shower decor!!  The mom to be announced the sex of the baby at the shower.  So I tried to keep it very neutral....didn't want it to be too girly or too boyish!

Candy Shop Theme Birthday Party

So my daughter turned the BIG 7!!!  We love doing parties, coming up with ideas, and having all of her friends over for a grand ole' time.  This year we went with a candy shop theme.  I am not big on letting my kids indulge in a lot of sweets....so this was going to be something fab for them.  I told them that they could have as much candy as their little hearts desired!  The party was super budget friendly....most of everything was in my craftroom.  Okay....here are the pics

This was her invitation.  Very simple yet theme related!  They were loved by her guests and whats even better everything I needed for the invite was in my craftroom.  Not a single dime was spent to make these.

Barbie Party

Helloooo friends!!!!  Okay so a couple weeks ago I did some decor for a Barbie Party.  I made cupcake toppers, favor tags, and a door sign!!  The colors were hot pink, black, and white!  Pink is my most favorite color so I was pretty giddy while working on everything.  I added some sparkle and bling to everything also.  Here are some pics.

For the Barbie image I used my Cricut Mini and the Forever Young Cartridge.

Here are a few pics of the decor at the actual party.

I also spruced up her card envelope!

Well...thats all I have for you!!  Let me know what you think!!

Until next time....

Flocking Powder

Okay so once upon a time I was in Wal-Mart and they had something called flocking powder on sale for 20 cents.  Me being the crafter I am just had to have some.  I had absolutely no clue what it was or how to use it.  I think I purchased it like a year ago!  Well today.... I was sitting here thinking of how I could add details to some cotton candy I cut out.  Well first I thought of glitter bc I have tons and tons of glitter that I never use!!  As girly I am and the mother of two girls you would think I'd glitter everything.  So anyway.....i kept thinking to myself that I needed something soft and fuzzy!!!  Then it hit me....the flocking powder!!!  Lets just say I am in love.  But now I have to go out and find some blue, for my blue cotton candy! Here is a pic....I think I did a pretty good job for my first time using it!!  Tell me what you think!

Until next time....

Minnie Mouse Birthday Party

Hello friends!!!!!  Soooooo my daughter turned 4 on the 27th of August!  She had a Minnie Mouse theme birthday party....and boy it was a blast!!  Here are some pics.

These were her invites!  I made them using Publisher and printed them at WalMart!  Super easy and budget friendly!

I made her tutu and her shirt! Go me (this is actually the third tutu I have made but the first time making a shirt.  I just used a shirt she already had and I already had some of the tulle and I purchased the rest for about $3 from someone selling their stash!  Lol I WILL always find a way to save.

The setup!  (her fav color is blue)  The banner was made with my cricut mini and the adjustable marker holder.  I tied it together with some sparkly tulle.  I do now own any type of Disney cartridge.  I made the everything using mostly basic shapes.

The curtains are just plastic table cloths.... 97 cents at Walmart!  They are also cut in half!

Minnie and Mickey ears for the kids to wear and it was part of their party favor!

The plate took the place of a guestbook....her guests signed it as they left the party!  I used vinyl for the Minnie, bow, name, and number.  The guests signed the plate using a ceramic marker.

Originally the adults were going to play a "guess how many gumballs game" but we never got around to it!  Ooops!!!!  I made this so she would have something to keep after the party!

The cake!  Totally made by my friend and me!!!  Oh and it was a yummy strawberry cake!!!

Cupcakes and cake pops!  We also had dipped marshmallows!  Favor bags in the back!  The blue bags are the prizes for the games.

Food Table

I didnt get a pic before all of the food was gone!  Lol I typically have a photographer....but she moved away!!  So I was on my own!! :(

We played "Pin the Bow on Minnie"  I made this using foam board, and glitter mod podge!

Golf

Musical Minnie (Musical Squares) I played music from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

and the Pinata!!

Well guess I should show you just how much she's loved!!

She got this on her actual birthday!!  She LOVES trains!!!

It was such a fun party, everyone enjoyed themselves, and most importantly my daughter had a blast!

Now I am planning my soon to be 7 yr olds Candy Land party!!  So stay tuned!!

Until next time...
